END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you and Astersoft Co., please read it carefully. This EULA covers all existing versions of GeneralKB and their beta versions from now on referred below as "GeneralKB Knowledge Base" unless otherwise specified.

Copyright
This software is copyrighted 2008-2010, Astersoft Co. The use and copyright of this software is governed by international copyright treaties. Astersoft retains full title and rights to this software and documentation, and in no way does the license granted diminish the intellectual property rights of Astersoft Co. You must not redistribute the registration codes provided, on paper, electronically, or in any other form.

Evaluation Version
This is not free software. You are hereby licensed to use this software for evaluation purposes without charge within 100 executions. Using this software after the evaluation period violates copyright laws and may result in severe civil and criminal penalties.

Registered Version
One registered copy of this software may be used by only one person who uses the software personally on one or more computers. Further, it may be installed on a single workstation used non-simultaneously by more than one person, but not both.
When you purchase GeneralKB, the "Activation Code" is being issued to you. This "Activation Code" can only be used by the individual (or entity) purchased it and should not be shared with the other individuals (parties). Any distribution of the "Activation Code" shall result in immediate and automatic termination of the rights granted in this EULA.

License types
After the run limit of the evaluation version is spent, the Licensee can aquire the following license types, which allow the Licensee to continue using the Licensor's software under the presented terms for each of the licenses.
・ personal license - the Licensee, who paid the license fee and obtained the unlock codes authorizing them to use the Licensor's Software for personal purposes, is not entitled to use the Licensor's Software for commercial purposes. By commercial purposes we understand the indirect and direct use of the Licensor's Software for any gainful activity, the use of the Licensor's Software in business in particular. The Licensor's Software's Licensees can be natural persons exclusively.
・ business license - the Licensee, who paid the license fee and obtained the unlock codes authorizing them to use the Licensor's Software for commercial purposes, is entitled to use the Licensor's Software for any purpose, i.e. both personal and commercial, e.g. gainful activity. The Licensor's Software's Licensees can be natural persons and both non-profit and commercial organizations.
・ family license - the Licensee, who paid the license fee and obtained the unlock codes authorizing them to use the Licensor's Software for familial purposes, is entitled to install and use the Software on any number of computer machines installed at their own home. At the same time the license limits the Software installation and use to one location, i.e. one building. The Licensee is not autorized to use the Licensor's Software for commercial purposes. By commercial purposes we understand the indirect and direct use of the Licensor's Software for any gainful activity, the use of the Licensor's Software in business in particular. The Licensor's Software's Licensees can be natural persons exclusively.
・ site license - the Licensee, who paid the license fee and obtained the unlock codes authorizing them to use the Licensor's Software under the site license, is entitled install and use the Software on any number of computer machines installed in their own organization (e.g. company, school, bureau). At the same time the license limits the Software installation and use to one location, i.e. one building. The Licensee is autorized to use the Licensor's Software for any purpose, i.e. both non-commercial and commercial, e.g. gainful activity. The Licensor's Software's Licensees can be natural persons and both non-profit and commercial organizations.

THIS SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT WILL ASTERSOFT BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THIS LICENSE, UNDERSTAND IT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.

Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Each of the parties hereto irrevocably attorns to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Russia and further agrees to commence any litigation which may arise hereunder in the courts located in the the Licensor headquarters in Russia. In the matters beyond the decisions of this Agreement, appropriate rules of the civil code and the copyright law and related laws' acts apply.

Distribution
This software may be distributed freely in its original unmodified and unregistered form. The distribution must include all files of its original distribution. Distributors may not charge any money for it. Anyone distributing this software for any kind of remuneration must first contact us for authorization.

Other Restrictions
You may not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble this software in any way, including changing or removing any messages or windows.
